A welcoming holiday house for five on a working farm, near Lligwy Beach
A beautiful barn conversion that welcomes you upon arrival. Set among acres of farmland rich in wildlife and historic sites, and moments from Lligwy Beach.
Recently renovated, Ty Coed is warm underfoot and full of light. With open plan living chefs can create masterpieces with company aplenty. The kitchen is hand-crafted and a joy to behold, with everything you need to hand all chefs will smile. With seating close by there is no need to get under foot, but laughter is a must and can be shared.
Off the kitchen sits the utility room, where the more mundane side of life is hidden away. Holidays are about relaxing not for chores.
Ty Coed is a joy to stay in, a downstairs double bedroom and bathroom complete the downstairs. Couples will find this cottage just so very easy. Upstairs a twin bedroom awaits those that are sun kissed and fresh air tired. A clever mezzanine floor allows for one more to stay, making five in total. An ideal place to curl up with a book and enjoy an uninterrupted moment.
Evenings are for getting together. Catch up over long relaxed meals, walks to watch the sun setting over Lligwy Beach or book the games room ready for all to compete with the winner choosing the next adventure.
Eating in or dining out is a wonderful dilemma to have. Lligwy Beach Cafe is within walking distance so a quiet pint or two is easy to arrange, without the need to nominate a driver. Further along the coast sits Moelfre, a stunning fishing village a short drive away. Here you can dine at Ann’s Pantry, wonderful local produce served in relaxed and welcoming surroundings. Traditional seaside fish and chips can be collected and feasted upon while gazing out to sea – icecream for pudding, made locally and enjoyed by all.
Day trips to Moelfre are a dream. Walking boots on and follow the Anglesey Coastal Path from Lligwy Beach to the Moelfre RNLI Lifeboat Station. Further along stands Dic Evans, guarding the shores forever more. Learn about his heroic life by visiting the Seawatch Centre. Full of seafaring tales and acts of selflessness, a fascinating few hours and well worth a visit. Walk along the beautiful shores admiring the boats sailing past and reward yourself for a walk well done.
