Full Description
Ynys Hideout has been created beautifully, simply, and comfortably. An open-plan space with a wood stove for winter warmth, a practical kitchen area with a gas cooker and tiny fridge, two comfy chairs, and a double bed.
Hop outside to the shower and WC hut to experience a hot shower in the morning. The walk at night twinkles with lighting to lead the way and the stars will help you along. There are horses in the meadow beyond the shepherd's hut and the most amazing fire pit to roast some food on or simply enjoy the blaze of warmth.
Heavenly walks start at the door - you can stride out for hedgerow and mountain walks or drive to a great handful of pubs with a five-mile radius. Cycling to the beaches at Moelfre or Lligwy is a doddle.

Eating out is a pleasure with cafes and pubs just down the road a few miles away. Lligwy Beach café is worth a visit. At Red Wharf Bay, The Ship Inn is a very popular waterfront pub serving good food. And The Old Boathouse Restaurant is perfect too – an amazing seafood restaurant and café – this is the place for breakfast if sausages on the fire are getting boring! Beaumaris has a myriad of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants; together with its medieval castle and Victorian pier, it makes for a great day out. The Copper Mine at Amlwch is a fascinating trip with the “moonscape” landscape and walks to help shift the cream teas.
Return to Ynys Hideout to marvel at the stars, sleep soundly, and then wake to a burst of vibrant birdsong.
