Back

Tyn Towyn is a pretty, Welsh, whitewashed cottage tucked away neatly in the sand dunes near Rhosneigr, with the sea as its neighbour. What a little slice of heaven!

Full Description

Park up and marvel at the magnificent views. Fling open a blue beach door to a warm, open-plan family space - the real heart of the cottage. High-ceilinged, with a comfy large sofa and a log-burner, this is a wonderful space in which to relax. The kitchen is small but fully equipped and commands incredible views through both windows. Stare out the window by the kitchen sink as the waves crash onto the shore - who needs dishes – just gaze. With incredible local produce to choose from and views savoured, you will soon be sitting at the cute dining table in Tyn Towyn tucking into some much-deserved delights.

Small but sweet, the waves breaking on the sandy beach below can lull you to sleep in the bunk room for two. Next door is another small and uncluttered bedroom with a double bed. Let the stars twinkle through open shutters and fall softly asleep.

Wander along to the bathroom off the living space and again see the most incredible views along the way! A bath with an electric shower over is a sanctuary after a hard salty beach day. There is a heated towel rail to ensure your fluffy towels are kept as happy as you!

Things to do

"We have walked past on our way to the beach for several years. Always saying " what an amazing place" Now we have finally stayed here and enjoyed the beach all day. From early mornings to sunset swims, great long days in all types of stunning weather . Loved staying here felt like a real adventure"
"Wow! What a great we cottage. The location is perfect and the facilities are everything you need. Swam in the sea everyday and had mainly warm and sunny weather. The cottage is perfect, we really appreciated the stable door and the garden was perfect for our dogs. Actually saw a large pod of dolphins which was amazing. A great base to explore other parts of Anglesey. We would definitely love to return"
"It's has been a lovely week, although the weather is a bit rubbish. However Tyn Towyn did not disappoint , the sunsets, the view from the kitchen window, the beach on your doorstep, the red arrows. I love the simplicity of this place. I will be back"
"Cosy quaint and quirky little cottage . Full of charm and character. Ideally located to the beach which was literally on the doorstep ."
"Lovely but very small cottage located right on the coastal path and very close to the beautiful beach. Double bed was very comfortable, bathroom and kitchen were good. "
"This is the most beautiful cottage I have ever stayed in. Location to die for, an open gate through to beach and full of character."
