Ty Capel would have formerly housed the custodians of the Pengarnedd chapel next door. Now that the chapel is no longer in use, the house has been transformed into welcoming and well equipped accommodation. Step through the wrought iron gates into the courtyard and you'll find a delighful cottage which is a perfect base for a holiday on Anglesey.

Downstairs there is a sitting room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms while upstairs there is a further two bedrooms as well as the spacious open plan main living area. Here, the beautiful original beams have been preserved while the space has been opened up enable a group of eight friends or family to cook, dine and socialise together at the end of a busy day exploring. There is even a glazed door out onto the 1st floor balcony which overlooks fields towards Mynydd Llwydiarth above Red Wharf Bay (Traeth Coch). Outside, there is a sheltered rear courtyard with gravelled and flagged areas perfect for outside dining.

  • To note Ty Capel is situated on a no through road which is parallel and nearby to the Menai Bridge-Pentraeth road so some traffic noise will be evident

Location

The village of Pentraeth is a couple of miles north which has a few shops and a great pub (the Panton Arms) as well as the beach at Red Wharf Bay while a couple of miles south is Menai Bridge which has an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Beaumaris is also close by and the whole of Anglesey is on your doorstep to explore.
