Bolthole for 2 above the Conwy Valley
Back

The Granary is a recent conversion of a lovely old stone farm outbuilding, perched above the Conwy Valley with views for miles. A narrow lane winds up from the valley floor, through the ancient village of Llanbedr y Cennin to reach The Granary. The village was once an artist's colony (a number of notable artists are buried in the parish church) and was on the old drovers route over the nearby Carneddau. The excellent village pub, Ye Olde Bull Inn, has fed and watered genrations of drovers during its 500 year history and is a pleasant walk from the Granary. There are excellent walks from the house up to the high Carneddau following the drovers routes.

Things to do

"We had a wonderful week at the granary. Jess and Rob were really friendly and check in was easy. The location was just what we wanted. In the hills and very quiet. Lovely walks from the house. We visited Anglesey, Potmeirion, beautiful mountain lakes and 3 local national trust properties. As well as great pizza recommendation from Rob in Betws-y-Coed. We would honestly encourage anyone to stay here."
