Quaint cottage for 4 on the beach in Rhosneigr
Back

We love Seaview Cottage! Located in the Boat Pool and next door to the old Rhosneigr Lifeboat Station, its mere yards to the beach and a two minute walk to the centre of Rhosneigr. The Boat Pool is a no-through-road of a handful of houses tucked behind the main beach. It escapes the hustle and bustle of buzzing Rhosneigr even in high summer. Some will prefer the peace of winter where it's possible to walk out of the door on to miles of sand in either direction with barely a soul in sight.

Full Description

The cottage was lovingly renovated in 2023/4 by a local family who've owned it for generations. It's fresh and modern but without losing its soul. The column of the spiral staircase is a Sampson post, presumably from a shipwreck, which the owners father found on the beach. The upstairs bedroom still feels like the upturned hull of the lifeboat which would have occupied the old station next door a hundred years ago.

There's a cosy, thick walled, sitting room with log burner, a spacious kitchen/dining room and an ensuite bedroom downstairs. Upstairs is the twin room with separate WC. Outside, to the front of the house is a small enclosed terrace area with space for seating and a sheltered evening BBQ or room to store watersports equipment if you prefer.
We think Seaview Cottage is the perfect place to switch off and embrace a simpler, more carefree time together.

Things to do

"Thank you so much for a perfect few days in the Anglesey Winter sunshine. The cottage is perfection, cosy, warm, welcoming and you couldn't wish for a better location. Highly recommend a morning on Traeth Llanddwyn, the dog adored it. Please can we come back?!"
"Dear Peter and Jane, thank you so much for letting us stay in your delightful cottage. We've had a very relaxing time and enjoyed exploring the area. People have been very friendly and the walks along the beaches and up hills invigorating. The cottage is probably the prettiest and best fitted out of any we've stayed in, and we've stayed in a few! With very best wishes for 2025."
"Jane and Peter - A big thank you for allowing us to share this beautiful cottage. It's so well presented and immaculate. We stay away every New Year and this has been my favourite. What a perfect location, 22 steps (yes I counted it) to see the sea. We have managed to encounter a few amazing sunsets. Highly recommended for those visiting and reading this - Sandy Mount and Oyster Catcher for food, Will's Bar at the O.C for more relaxed pizza (Pat's Shack). South Stack/Holyhead Mountain and Newborough Beach/Llanddwyn Island our highlights out and about, oh and our New Year's dip in the sea!! Thank you for the treats and a very Happy New Year to you both!!!"
