Things to do

"What a wonderful Cottage - loved the flowers, and it had everything you could possibly need particularly (the crabbing bucket) we did come equipped- caught six! Would definitely visit again, thank you."
"We had a lovely time, thank you. Melvin Cottage is great to clean comfy and the attention to detail is wonderful."
"Our fifth visit and another wonderful holiday in this lovely Cottage. As soon as we arrive here we fall into “relax mode”. We've said it all before, fabulous! Lovely to meet you Murray and thanks for the help. Bill loved the marmalade and Casper (3) loved the Fox bedroom!"
"What a wonderful house from house. 4 nights of blissful comfort & sleep. The cottage is beautifully decorated & equipped, we wanted for nothing :) We hope to return soon"
"We had a lovely stay in Menai Gardens.
The views over the Menai Straights were beautiful and created a very relaxing setting.
We couldn't have wished for more!"
"We have just spent a week at Menai Gardens, it was absolutely beautiful. The accommodation is very clean, comfortable and spacious, and has everything that you could need. We visited Penmon Point, and Newborough Beach whilst we were there, both are gorgeous areas, but mostly we just enjoyed looking at the gardens, and across the Strait to the mountains, it’s stunning. The photos of the gardens really don’t do it justice, but you can’t capture all the different times of day, and how the view changes throughout the day, or the wildlife in the garden, little rabbits running around, birds and butterflies around the garden. Sitting of an evening winding down with a glass or 2 of wine on the patio was our favourite time of day. You definitely don’t need to switch the tv on when you have those views from the garden. We enjoyed little walks with our dog along the beach. It’s very quiet and peaceful, being just outside the main tourist areas, but also not too far to visit other places. We really didn’t want to leave. Definitely, the most relaxing holiday that we have had. Steve and Sian have the perfect little hideaway on the Menai Strait and have thought of everything to make sure that you enjoy your stay. Thank you Steve, Sian and your lovely dog Amber, we loved our holiday."
"We had a really peaceful week at Menai Gardens, it was spacious and warm and very quiet. We loved the views of Menai Straits and the beautiful lighthouse a short distance away. It was very clean and comfortable. We’ll be back."
