Back

Bryn Eithin is a cosy holiday cottage for two, tucked away in the Anglesey countryside.

Full Description

Surrounded by fields and just four miles from Aberffraw, this is a rural Boltholes where you can truly escape for peace, quiet. Relax here and let life slow down for a while.

Bryn Eithin is a single-storey property which means that all accommodation is on the ground floor. The open plan living space is welcoming and cosy, with a wood-burning stove in front of the comfortable sofa. A modern fitted kitchen area is well equipped for cooks who enjoy rustling up tasty meals from locally sourced, fresh produce. Savour the pleasure of an undisturbed meal and a good glass of wine at the table for two.

The bedroom's king-sized bed and restful decor will ensure that you sleep easy, undisturbed by everything except bird song and perhaps the bleat of a sheep or two! There's a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, perfect for freshening up after a day of exploring around the island.

The garden is enclosed with a gate - do bear in mind that inquisitive four-legged friends could wander. There is a pond that is unfenced - keep an eye on young children to make sure that they are safe. With livestock in the fields around and winding paths and lanes to explore, Bryn Eithin is a true escape to the country.

Turn right and wind along the coast road to arrive at Llanddwyn for the beach, forest and stunning scenery. Further along are Anglesey Sea Zoo, Plas Newydd House and Gardens and then to Menai Bridge which is fast becoming an eatery haven, with its art gallery and coastal walks. Garden lovers will adore The Hidden Garden at Plas Cadnant.

Sightseeing is easy, with Beaumaris, a seaside town with its very own proud medieval castle and great places to eat just half an hour away. A couple of miles further along the coast is Penmon – this is just the south coast of Anglesey! Turn left from Bryn Eithin and the west and north coasts of the island lie ahead, waiting to be explored.

Things to do

"The cottage itself was beautiful in a beautiful area. Everything that you could need was there, like a home not a holiday cottage. Amazing sunsets and though remote was near to all the places you would want to visit."
"Bryn Eithin is in a lovely spot, very secluded and quiet, and apart from the abundance of nettles, the gardens were a great place for our dogs to run around in, which they thoroughly enjoyed. We enjoyed wonderful weather, especially for the time of year, and saw some glorious sunsets from the cottage."
"Bryn Eithin truly is the most idyllic cottage that we have ever stayed in, so peaceful and a perfect hideaway for two.
The cottage has everything that you would need for your stay, a huge very comfortable bed that makes you not want to get out of it and beautiful views across open countryside.
Our dogs loved the gardens and with the gate at the top of the drive closed we felt comfortable letting them play
Thanks to Catherine and all of the team for a perfect holiday"
