Beautiful ground floor apartment for two with stunning views to Snowdonia

Come for atmosphere and architecture, Cornelyn Manor is remarkable. It stands peacefully in gardens a stone’s throw from the shores of the Menai Strait. There’s a timeless feel to this place and the peace is deep.

The majestic book lined entrance hall with fire and oak staircase leads to your hideaway – Cornelyn apartment.

A large uncluttered bedroom with a soaring ceiling hosts the bed! What a four poster to awake to birdsong in.  Read a book on the reclined on the chaise longue, or stare out to sea and mountains. Large windows draw the incredible views in and make you want to put activities on pause to absorb the here and now.  The polished bathroom gleams delightfully for a brisk shower after use of the shared gym.

The open plan kitchen is a chef’s dream, kitted out well enough to create a three-course gourmet feast. Dine at the table and then relax on sofas with TV.

Feel free to chat, read, sip evening tipples by the fire in the entrance hall downstairs. Or head out to Beaumaris a hop away – well a short coastal drive – for great cuisine and nights out. Beaumaris by day offers the perfect concentric castle, lifeboat station and independent shops galore.

Nearby White Beach offers a porpoise pod or two, quiet contemplation or coastal walks – picnics a must.  Further on, Llanddona Beach leads you on a coastal walk with The Ship as a reward, great pub food with the sea as company.  Penmon Lighthouse, Priory and Church are of interest to so many. An amazing link to the Massey sisters once again as rare orchids are spotted on the banks by the lucky few.  With ease to explore Anglesey and Snowdonia alike this awe inspiring apartment is the place to stay.

If travelling with others flexibility becomes apparent. With another couple Saroda Apartment is just upstairs and both make dining for four an easy offering.  Add too the Garden Cottage on site, another four can join you – privacy and sociability combined. The perfect solution to holidaying with friends and family.

Rural and historic bliss.

“We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our week at Cornelyn garden cottage, 14 -21 September.
The owners have worked wonders in transforming the place and we loved the peace, views and position on the island, as well as being able to discover many lovely parts of Anglesey, especially the ancient burial sites and beautiful beaches.
Beaumaris proved a brilliant part of the island to be near. We’d love to return!”
