Bryn Môr

A beach bolthole for six with picture postcard perfect views

Steeped in history and with views that are picture postcard perfect, Bryn Mor is somewhere to escape to.  Newly refurbished and with an architects eye for detail this is a holiday house that has all that you will need.

A large family kitchen, with a dining area and open fire all within chatting distance, allowing chefs to create with the option of company.  All that you need is to hand and for those who “cook” with wine a handy wine fridge is within reach!  Off the dining area is a newly fitted shower room, a treat to have more than one bathroom when on holiday.

Two bedrooms sit quietly along the hall, one double with sea views to dream about and a double soon to be twin just across.  Through then to the large sitting room  where another open fire invites you in for cosy nights of catching up where you last left off.  The light from the conservatory floods in and draws you to “that” view – it never ceases to enthral you, rain or shine.  At night watch the ships anchor off the coast, sheltering during the darkest hours ready to dock.  Stormy days are incredible to watch from here – waves a plenty and the beauty is breathtaking.  Dog friendly means just that – plenty of space and a stroll to the beach and the Anglesey Coastal Path.  There simply is no excuse, when that tail wags and the paw goes up its time to go! Enjoy every moment.

The final bedroom sits in pride of place with its own bathroom complete with a bath to soak away your stresses in,  just keep an eye on those sea views.  The master bedroom is enormous – it has the wow factor and a half. High ceilings and french doors onto the terrace  ready to fling open and enjoy the sea air.  Leave the curtains open and enjoy uninterrupted sea views from bed, why not…you are on holiday.

With miles and miles of sandy beach to explore, and walks at low tide to The Ship Inn at Red Wharf Bay, you may wish to ditch the car until further notice.  Adventurers can be reassured that the historic seaside town of Beaumaris is an easy ten minute drive away – restaurants, pubs, shops and castles await all.   Further along is Penmon where the reassuring lighthouse sits proudly, a holiday landmark for so many.   Locally the Owain Glyndwr pub in Llanddona serves amazing food and with outdoor seating and take aways all are happy. Friday night is curry night and it is VERY good!

“We absolutely love Bryn Mor, having stayed there many times over several years.  It is a very large house, with a big fab conservatory meaning in all weathers you can see the sky and have light and warmth.  The sea view is spectacular and we have enjoyed many evenings watching the sunset either from the lovely garden or from the comfort of the sofas inside.  The recent refurbishment of the kitchen and second bathroom are splendid and leave the property feeling more modern.  It has always been clean and catered for all our needs.   With older children, having large bedrooms means everyone can get their own space which is not always easy with many holiday properties on Anglesey.   With such a short walk to a large, empty beach, we look forward to visiting again. From the Davies Family (West Yorkshire – a family of 4 with 2 teenagers (and now a dog so perhaps this year he will visit too!)

“We have had a brilliant week here at Bryn Mor. The house was far better than we could have imagined and the views are absolutely spectacular. We haven’t heard another noise the whole time we have been at the house! Llanddona beach is a real hidden gem; we have visited Anglesey numerous times before but had not heard of this beach. We will definitely be returning! We have been lucky to have had good weather and to have enjoyed sunny beach days there with the kiosk, toilets and free parking (too much stuff to carry down!) being added bonuses.

We are never disappointed by any of the Boltholes & Hideaways properties and look forward to booking with you again.”
