Red Wharf Bay

Situated between the villages of Pentraeth and Benllech, Red Wharf Bay, at low tide, is a breathtakingly vast expanse of sand which covers almost 10 miles. Rich in birdlife, it is flanked by salt marshes and sand dunes and is a designated nature reserve. A popular destination for visitors, Red Wharf Bay is home to three good pubs/restaurants each with great coastal views. The Anglesey coastal path passes close by offering miles of wonderful walking.
