Llangoed
A small rural village roughly 3 miles north of Beaumaris, Llangoed sits on the banks of the Afon Lleniog which flows into the Menai Strait close to Penmon Point. Hidden in the woods just below Llangoed are the ruins of Castell Aberlleiniog, an 11C motte-and-baily castle with a rich history.
