Colourful, cosy holiday cottage for 4 with large secret garden in the village of Llangoed

3 Pant Y Celyn is a cosy holiday cottage for four, tucked away down a green track in the village of Llangoed on Anglesey. Light and colourful, this is a quiet Bolthole with a large garden, perfect for couples or families alike.

A modern fitted kitchen area is well-equipped for cooks who enjoy rustling up tasty meals. Relax in the cosy sitting room after a day of exploring and enjoy a meal and a good glass of wine at the table for four. On cooler evenings, light the wood burner, snuggle up and watch the flames dance. And on sunny mornings and evenings, open the door to a tiny bistro table and chairs perfectly placed for a quiet cup of coffee or a glass of wine or sit out in the secluded garden and listen to the birdsong.

Tucked away upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms. On the first floor, you'll find a king-sized bed in the light and airy bedroom plus a combination wardrobe and drawers and an easy chair with a footstool - a perfect spot for a quiet read. Next door is the bathroom with a shower to wash away the exertions of the day.

Climb again up to the attic twin bedroom where two cheerful single beds nestle into the space; the Velux windows here allow light to flood in or the stars to twinkle at night.

Across the yard is The Pigsty - an outhouse with a delightfully pink door, which has been fitted out as both a utility room and a games room. Complete with a snooker table, table football and a darts board, this is an ideal overspill space for children to enjoy. And perfect for locking away bikes and hanging up any wet outdoor gear.

Down a narrow path behind the pigsty is the cottage's large, private garden. A suntrap space with a raised patio area, picnic table and deckchairs for sunny days.

Parking for 3 Pant Y Celyn is in the village car park, just a 2-minute walk away down a narrow country lane.

From the cottage, the Menai Strait is a gentle 30-minute walk. Visit Aberleniog Castle on your way - a 12-century motte and bailey fortification accessed up a series of steep wooden steps. Trwyn Du/Penmon Point is a ten-minute drive with its iconic black and white lighthouse standing sentinel. The Pilot House Cafe here has a good menu and is licensed.

Beaumaris is two miles away - home to great independent shops, cafes and restaurants, a wonderful medieval castle and a beautiful Victorian pier - a crabbing expedition is a must!

And within twenty minutes, you can be in Menai Bridge, home to Dylan's restaurant and the Anglesey Paper Company, just to mention a couple of the excellent local businesses located here. From Menai Bridge, the world is your oyster: turn east towards Red Wharf Bay and beyond; head west towards Plas Newydd and Newborough or hop onto the A55. Venture south onto the mainland and into Snowdonia or towards the Conwy Valley, Or set off north towards Rhosneigr, Trearddur Bay and Church Bay.

So much choice of things to do and places to visit! Where will you go first?

This is a first-class cottage. The quality of the accessories and the attention to detail is hugely impressive. You can walk to the sea in minutes or stay cosy by the gorgeous log burner. Our host, Cathy couldn’t have been more helpful and we were actually sad to leave. Hugely recommended.

We had the most perfect New Year stay at the cottage while we were in Anglesey. It was so clean, cosy, and comfortable that we really didn’t want to leave! It has everything you need for a few nights' stay (or longer) and we would definitely return when we visit the island next. Its location is great, all corners of Anglesey are within a 50-minute drive, but if you aren’t driving then there are great walks and amenities nearby too. The hosts were very communicative before arrival and said if we needed anything while we were there then we could call. The welcome book has all bits of info you could need too. Would absolutely recommend booking here, and we can’t wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful couple of days in this lovely cottage. Accessed up a quiet country lane, we were delighted with the high standard of the accommodation. Every detail has been thought of, it is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Our children didn't want to leave.

Amazing little cottage in a quiet village outside of Beaumaris. Perfect for a family with 2 kids. Extremely clean, well renovated, and cosy, with a wood burning stove and anything you could need… including a Nespresso machine! Great communication from the hosts too, with 2 phone calls received, and great advice/suggestions provided regarding places to eat etc..
