Ty Bach is the perfect picture postcard Welsh cottage near Beaumaris
** Ty Bach is currently being renovated **
Reopens at the end of April
Ty Bach is the perfect picture postcard Welsh cottage set amidst a mature garden with a stream to relax by. Only a putt or two away from Henllys Golf Course those who enjoy a round of the golfing variety will be in heaven. For others, with a passion for the other type of round, Beaumaris is a healthy half an hour stroll away or a five-minute drive.
The owners wish to make all their guests feel welcome and at home immediately. A handcrafted kitchen sets the scene beautifully – a meticulous eye for detail by a local carpenter ensures that the kitchen is a place of beauty, not just a workroom. With plenty of space for the chef-in-charge, the creating of dinners will be a pleasure. With Beaumaris on your doorstep, you can be sure fresh local produce can be sourced easily, a delight for all. Time your visits wisely and the incredible Beaumaris or Menai Food Festivals are a must, for there you will find local produce in abundance. A feast and a half for all.
A large sitting room with a log fire set amongst the inglenook fireplace and a dining table, ready for celebrations and gatherings, welcomes those who stay in this idyllic cottage. This is a cottage to get cosy in whatever the weather holds. With comfortable sofas to relax into after a day of exploring, those who wish to play board games or just catch up on films will be happy. Add a glass of something sparkling and the smiles will just get wider.
With one kingsized bedroom with an ensuite shower room, a large twin bedroom, that can become a super king as soon as you wish, and finally a twin bedroom with a family shower room there is space aplenty. Each bedroom has its own television so noone misses their favourite programmes. Ty Bach has plenty of room for six or, alternatively, is a perfect bolthole for two to hide away from the stresses of the everyday world.
Garden lovers will appreciate the outdoor seating areas have been placed to follow the sun. And there is a thoughtful shaded area for those who would rather enjoy the warmth but not the rays. The gentle sound of the stream is so soothing and the sound of birdsong very much in evidence. Beautiful mature trees and a pond for holidaying wildlife ensure this holiday cottage feels part of the countryside and a magical one at that.
Ty Bach’s crowning glory is that it is so dog-friendly. Not just one but two are welcome – after all, they are family. With so many walks on your doorstep and dog-friendly Beaumaris down the road, we guarantee tails will be set to wag mode from the day you arrive.

10/10! We were offered to arrive earlier than booked as cottage was ready, on arrival everything was organised with everything more than expected, issue with heating easily resolved and attended to within a suitable time frame. Beautiful and quirky x the local church to meet the vicar is a must, the village and surrounding area beautiful. The butchers in the village highly recommend, Would highly recommend the cottage, excellent communication and hassle free.
A quaint and homely cottage in a quiet and secluded location, but very close to the amenities of picturesque Beaumaris. Our family party of 6 adults & 2 dogs were happy and comfortable there for a week and found it a good base for exploring the island. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, 3 televisions (2 in bedrooms) and a huge selection of books & games. We appreciated the cosy woodburner on a couple of drizzly evenings! We would highly recommend .
Within one mile of Beaumaris. Excellent location for touring all of North Wales.
Ty Bach was definitely the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Home from Home.Absolutely beautiful, in a lovely tranquil part of Anglesey yet very close to Beaumaris. We would certainly recommend it to anyone and hope to return there again soon. Jemma and Ian are a delightful couple and we wish them well.
